Frohliche Weihnachten!

If you aren't German or don't know what Frohliche Weihnachten means, it means Merry Christmas! My mother was born and raised in Germany and I have lots of family who live there. I made this card today and decided if I liked how it turned out I would make several more just like it to send to my family in Germany.

I used the new Janome Mini Sewing machine that I won from Lesa to stitch on the card. As you can see, I have lots to learn! LOL...

I colored Tilda with my copic markers. The DP is Basic Grey Two Scoops and my card base is Stampin' Up Always Artichoke. I matted the DP on Not Quite Navy and then matted the Tilda image on Wild Wasabi. The ribbon is from Michaels dollar spot!

I'm feeling a little better today, but still don't feel great. I'm going to take one more day off of work to take it easy and will go back on Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by today! Leave a comment if you can.. I'd love to know what you think of this card!

She's just adorable! Love the coloring and the papers. How did you like sewing? I'm so wanting one of those babies. And your stitching is really great for a first time out!

Great job Monica. All your relatives in Germany will love your cards. Is Froehliche Weihnachten a stamp or did you use a calligraphy pen to write it?
